Trinity employs a board certified Athletic Trainer (ATC) who is available to its student-athletes. Certified Athletic Trainers are licensed health care professionals who implement the athletic health care for all student-athletes. The ATC collaborates with the team physician in determining the type and level of medical care an injured or sick student-athlete should receive.
For the safety of our student-athletes, only the certified athletic trainer and other licensed health care providers may provide treatment to an injured or ill student-athlete. Discussion between coaches, student-athletes, and the sports medicine staff are encouraged.
