Applications are accepted throughout the year. If you apply by our preferred application date of Feb. 15 you will receive priority consideration for all scholarships and housing awards. Awards will be determined on a case by case basis for applications received after Feb. 15.
Request transcripts. Ask your high school counselor to send us your official high-school transcripts. If you are a running start student, please request official transcripts from all colleges where you have studied.
Submit test scores. Trinity requires the ACT or SAT. We accept scores listed on official high school transcripts, or you can request ACT or SAT send us scores directly. Trinity code numbers for the tests are: SAT-4408, ACT-4453.
Submit your personal statement. Your personal statement needs to be at least 250 words long and may be submitted by e-mail to admissions@TLC.edu or fax to 425.249.4806. Click here to download the instructions [PDF].
Application Review. The Office of Admissions reviews application on an individual basis. Our counselors evaluate applications based on grade point average, transcript patterns, standardized test scores and personal statements. However, we look at individual students as a whole and not just as number or a score. Your application, which includes a personal statement and possibly letters of recommendation, is an opportunity for us to get to know you as an individual. We know that every student has something unique to offer, which is why we review and value all materials that you submit during the application process. Once we receive all of your application material from the checklist above the Office of Admissions will review your application. Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
Notification of your Admission Decision. Once your application has been reviewed you will receive a decision within 2-3 weeks.
Financial Aid Awards are Mailed. If you submit your Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) between January 1 and March 1 you can expect your Financial Aid Award letter by April 1.
Enrollment. If you have been admitted and received your Financial Aid Award, make sure to submit your Enrollment Deposit and Housing Deposit as soon as you have decided to attend Trinity! Click here to pay your deposits online.
